To create more space in the XXL secret compartment, the underside was beveled and provided with a so-called "Swiss edge." The edge is not noticeable from the outside. It is only visible if you lie on the floor and look at the table from below. Furthermore, these edges are also used on tables that do not have a hidden compartment. This ensures complete concealment with additional storage space.
